A school library or classroom acts as a centralized area for learning all information related to a certain subject. In school students can use an on-campus library or software that collects and organizes academic related information for retrieval by students and teachers alike. This improved technology is just one of many ways that schools are improving upon educational techniques. With a school wide flashcard program students and teachers can access a collection of flashcards that can be used in education. These flashcards can be used to enhance learning in any subject and can all be stored in the same centralized school library or classroom for retrieval during computer lab hours.
Teachers often struggle to find the time required to create multiple classroom lessons year after year and for each subject. Flashcards in education can be used for memory activities, drilling activities, and identification activities. To test memory with flashcards you can place a set of cards in a circle on the floor and give the students one minute to memorize them. Then in groups they should be given two minutes to write down as many of the words on the cards that they can recall.
